GB Assembly Opposition Leader Hafiz Hafeez ur Rehman
Hafiz Hafeez ur Rehman is the Opposition Leader of Gilgit-Baltistan Assembly 2026 of the Giligit Baltistan. He was notified as leader of the opposition in provincial assembly of GB on June 22, 2026. Politically he is affiliated with Pakistan Muslim League Gilgit-Baltistan. He is elected Member of GB assembly from GBA-2 Gilgit II. He served as a Cheif Minister of Gilgit Baltistan from 2015 to 2020.

Hafiz Hafeez ur Rehman was born in Kashtore, in the Gilgit district. He completed his early education in Gilgit City, where he passed his secondary school certificate. After that, he studied at Jamia Farida Madrassa in Lahore, Punjab.
