Faisal Kundi Governor of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa
Faisal Karim Kundi is the governor of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. He Assumed office on May 4, 2024. He was appointed Governor of KPK by President of Islamic Republic of Pakistan Asif Ali Zardari on advice of Prime Minister of Pakistan Mian Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif. Chief Justice Peshawar High Court Justice Ishtiaq Ibrahim administered the oath of office to Faisal Karim Kundi as the Governor of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on 04 May 2024. He belongs from Pakistan Pakistan Peoples Party PPP. He also served as the deputy Speaker of the national assembly of Pakistan from March 19, 2008 to March 16, 2023. He has also served as the Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Poverty Alleviation and Social Safety from October 6, 2022 to August 10, 2023.

Faisal Karim Kundi was born on 24 May 1975. After matriculating from St. Helens High School, Karachi, he obtained his bachelors degree from Punjab University Lahore and then LLB from Thomas Valley College, London United Kingdom. He started his practical politics in 2001 local body elections and defeated Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam chief Maulana Fazl ur Rehman in 2008 general elections.
