Haji Gul Bar Khan is the chief Minister of Gilgit Baltistan. He is 4th elected chief minister of Gilgit Baltistan and assumed office on 13th July 2023. Politically he is affiliated with Pakistan Tehrik e Insaf PTI forword block. He was elected member of Gilgit Baltistan Assembly from GBLA-18 Diamer-IV. On 13 July 2023, he was elected as the Chief Minister of GB. He received 19 votes against his opponent Raja Azam Khan, Javed Ali Manwa and Raja Muhammad Zakria Maqpoon boycotted the election.. He was sworn in as Chief Minister of Gilgit Baltistan on July 13, 2023 which was administered by Syed Mehdi Shah governor GB.

Haji Gulbar Khan was born in August 1960 in District Diamer. He previously served as the Minister of Health in the coalition government of the Peoples Party from 2009 to 2014. He also served as Health minister during govt of Khalid Khurshid Khan. He used to be a member of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (F), but later on joined Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf.
