Barrister Sultan Mahmood Chaudhry is the current President of Azad Kashmir of Pakistan. He assumed office on August 25, 2021. He is 21ist President of Azad Jummu and Kashmir. Sultan Mahmood Chaudhry is a former Prime Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir from 30 July 1996 to 24 July 2001. Sultan Mahmood started his political carrier in 1983 after completing his education in the UK and elected as the youngest member of AJK legislative Assembly in 1985 from the platform of Azad Muslim Conference, a party founded by his father late Ch. Noor Hussain Jatt. He was elected MLA of Azad Jammu & Kashmir many times. Politically he affiliated Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf.
